John Lennon never played it this way I’m making a video of how it sould sound and how to play it. Sorry dude but i tryed it your way and it just doesn’t sound right. Its not a bad way to play but there is a much better way to play it and much easyer way too. Look at lick library on this site and this guy is great. Check it out for all you Beatles fans. Its awsome

a normal F, ud bar …
a normal F, ud bar the first two strings up on the first fret with ur index finger , then ur middle finger on the third string up of the second fret then ur ring finger on the fourth string up of the 3rd fret, but the way he does it to make it easier is he dosnt bar the first two strings up he only puts his index finger down on the second string up on the first fret, lol i hope it helped, a lil confusing i think, but i hope it helped
