Learn Guitar With Lessons Delivered

12th November

Whether you are an amateur or a professional guitar player, you will agree that you can never say that there’s nothing more you can learn in playing the guitar. There’s always one more guitar lesson you have to learn in order to become even more proficient. One should never underestimate the power and the advantages of practice, and practice is the only way you can become an ace in playing the guitar. Let this be the first guitar lesson you take! Practice, practice, practice.

Now you can learn guitar with lessons delivered directly to you.

A recent survey has found several guitar newsletters which

include free guitar lessons. Probably one of the oldest and most popular

will be found at http://www.guitar5day.com Lesson, guitar biographies and other items of interest are published twice monthly. Random lessons will also find there way

into the mix.

If you want to learn guitar, the first things you want to do are become familiar with the guitar and learn its anatomy. When someone tells you to turn the second tuner on the head, you shouldn’t start pulling your ears. You should know where the tuners are, which the fretboard is and which the bridge is, and so on. Do not underestimate this first guitar lesson. It is very useful to know the main things about the guitar. You also want to learn how the frets, strings and fingers are numbered as this is vital in learning the right techniques when you’re a beginner. When your teacher (or the book you’re learning from) tells you to pick string 1, with finger 1, on the first fret, you should know exactly what he means.

The second guitar lesson for any beginner who wants to learn guitar should be the stringing and tuning of a guitar. Stringing is a fairly easy process. Tuning the guitar, however, can prove to be a little more difficult for beginners as you should know how string A, for example, should sound. That’s mainly the reason why the usage of a guitar tuner is recommended until you become familiar with the notes. This is a guitar lesson that you can find in any book or online guitar lessons site.

easy guitar songs

The third and longest guitar lesson (most probably a lifetime if you’re really passionate about it) is the actual playing of the guitar. As any player can tell you, it’s mainly about technique and passion. You can master the technique by continuous practice and feed your passion by playing extensively. And this is the most important guitar lesson you’ll ever learn as ou learn guitar, that it’s not always about the talent, but most importantly, it’s about how determined you are to play the guitar.

Guitar lessons can differ from one player to another, because you have: acoustic and electric guitar equipment. If you’re a classical music guitar player, you should know the correct position when playing, the right way to hold the guitar, and the right to pick the strings with your right hand fingers. If you’re playing electric guitar, you have to know the right way to hold the pick and the best techniques to achieve the speed you want. These are all guitar lessons that are available on the Internet and in every learn guitar book ever written. These are the essentials and if a book does not contain this information don’t buy it and go look for one that does.

And then there are the ‘fine tuning’ guitar lessons where you learn guitar in several styles, such as jazz, bossa nova, rock, rock and roll, country, and so on. But in the end you’ll end up having your own personal style and that’s when you’ll know you have learned guitar well

The Internet – a Great Place to Find Guitar Lessons

4th November

If you are interested in learning how to play the guitar the easy, convenient way and in the quickest time possible, then it is advisable to turn to the Internet for help. At present there are thousands of high-quality, dedicated online resources that have been especially designed to meet the needs and requirements of existing and prospective guitar players worldwide, so everyone who wishes to learn more about playing the guitar can find and access a wide range of invaluable guitar playing tips, video tutorials and lessons simply through a few clicks of the mouse. However, in order to have the guarantee that you will only be provided with quality information and online guitar lessons that really produce significant results, it is very important to separate the efficient, properly designed and administered websites from the rest and only stick with the ones that are reliable and can help you improve your guitar playing in the minimum of time, with the least of effort and most important, for less money.

With so many guitar lessons out there (both free and paid), the task of finding the best ones (and more important, the ones that are most appropriate to you) can be very difficult. The best approach to this problem is to do a quick research on the specialized online resources with a good reputation and choose the websites that provide the guitar lessons which best suit your needs and requirements. Before choosing the lessons of a certain online tutorial-providing website over the lessons of another, it is recommendable to ask for the advice of your friends or other persons in whom you trust in order to find out whether those particular guitar lessons are efficient or not. Checking the testimonial sections and blogs of online guitar lesson websites is another way to determine the actual quality of the guitar lessons, tips and tutorials they provide.

By choosing to use only the lessons and tips of the major, highly reputed online guitar lesson-providing websites, you will ensure that you will be able to learn to play the guitar in an exciting, efficient and simple manner and that your efforts of learning how to play the guitar will pay off in the least of time. Especially if you are a complete novice at playing the guitar (and aren’t yet capable of evaluating the quality and efficiency of online guitar lessons you may come across), it is very important to stick with the ones offered by the best guitar learning online resources. By doing this, you will avoid wasting time and money with guitar lessons that don’t produce the expected results.

Once you have found the online guitar lesson-providing websites that are right for you, all you have to do is choose the lessons, tips and guitar-playing video tutorials that match your levels of skill and experience and start practicing in order to improve your playing. In case you are a beginner, it is also recommendable for you to decide over what you are interested in learning first or what guitar techniques you wish to master. For instance, if you want to become a pro at playing electric guitar, using acoustic guitar lessons would in most cases be a waste of time, considering that the guitar techniques used for playing the electric guitar are very different from those used to play the acoustic guitar.

Furthermore, it is very important to establish a list of priorities of the things you want to learn and take guitar playing one step at a time. As an example, rushing in at learning advanced guitar playing techniques such as guitar tapping or harmonic picking without knowing the basics behind guitar playing (the basic chords, the most extensively utilized guitar scales) are very likely to get you nowhere.

Another important thing to take in consideration is the genre of music you are interested in learning to play. For instance, online guitar lessons which concentrate on teaching playing rock guitar are very different from those which concentrate on teaching playing jazz guitar. To obtain the best results, it is therefore crucial to decide exactly what you want to learn and also establish a list of learning priorities. After doing this, with the help of quality guitar lessons provided by a reliable, dedicated guitar lessons website, and with a little ambition and practice you will be able to play the guitar like a pro in no time!

How to Learn and Play Electric Guitar

29th September

Have u bought a new electric guitar? Want to create magic with that six-string instrument? Don’t worry. It is not at all a tough job. You just need to follow some guidelines.

Once you have the guitar then go to a proper tutor. Your tutor is the best person who can best teach you how to learn and play electric guitar.

A tutor can help you in many ways. He will be able to show you the chords practically; you can discuss your queries with him and over all he can boost you up, when you are down. Remember that even though playing an electric guitar is easier than playing an acoustic guitar, you still need a lot of patience.

But if you think that you don’t need a tutor and you can do it by yourself, then here are some simple tips for you on how to learn and play electric guitar.

- Buy some books where you can find notations of different songs. Start with simple 4/4 beat songs or 3/4 beat songs like Yankee Doodle, charade etc. These notations will help you increase your reflex. It will also help your fingers move easily.

- Once you get used to these notations then go for some more complicated ones, where you will get a chance to move your fourth finger. Remember, while you are playing an electric guitar, you need to be able to move your four fingers. Only the thumb will be on the neck for support.

- Now when you have got hold on all of your fingers, experiment with the time signature. Try to play more complicated key signature notations. Play 6/8 beat, 2/2 beat, 7/4 beat etc.

- You must remember one thing, if you want to be a good guitarist; you need to be fluent on scales. Practice scales everyday. Practice both the major and minor ones, the harmonic and melodic minors.

- Try to play on different fret positions. Try to be fluent especially on the 3rd, 5th and 7th position. Remember you cannot learn how to learn and play electric guitar, unless you feel comfortable playing in every frate position of your guitar.

- Now, let us come to the chord section. Knowing to play rhythm is very important in electric guitar. Start practicing the easy chords first. Chords like D major, A major, E major, G major will be your first attempt. Play them on the nut position first. After becoming comfortable in nut position, go for the bar chords and the minor chords.

Try to play the ornamental chords like diminished, augmented, 7th chords, 6th chords etc. Practice different kinds of rhythms.

- To know how to grip the chords, go for good music books. There are lots of good books that will teach you how to grip these chords.

These are the basic guidelines. But there is something else also. If you seriously want to know how to learn and play electric guitars then you must listen to good solo electric guitar pieces. The more you will listen, the more you will get to know a lot of things.

And remember one more thing. Do practice everyday. If you do not practice sufficiently then this how to learn and play electric guitar lesson will be of no use.

Playing Electric Guitar for Beginners

22nd September

Acoustic guitars have found their popularity being challenged by their more modern cousins, the electric guitars. For beginners, this presents a challenge that\’s much more attractive to tackle. How does a newbie to guitars go about learning to play the ax?

Get the Right Instruments

First things first: you\’ll have to get yourself a proper guitar. No, not a physical electric guitar for beginners; there\’s no such thing as an electric guitar with specs just for beginners. Before you get all excited over the prospect of an electric guitar, you have to start where everyone else does – with an acoustic guitar.

How come? Electric guitars are a little more advanced, in that you\’d probably hurt yourself if you start playing them without a grasp of the basics. Besides, playing on the nylon strings of an acoustic is much easier on the fingers than going straight to the steel strings of an electric. But whether you go the acoustic route or straight to electric is entirely your choice.

The Basics

Every guitar player from Sting to Santana started out the same – with the scales. This is where a book or a tutor will come in handy, because you\’ve got to have these memorized before you can go and play the advanced stuff. As soon as you\’ve learned how to pluck and strum, the scales will be your very first lesson.

As you might have noticed, playing the electric guitar – for beginners, that is – can get pretty boring. It\’s all just a matter of time, though. You don\’t even need to do any actual memorization, especially if you practice on the guitar a lot. You\’ll eventually get the scales down and then work your way through to the more basic songs.

Don\’t get impatient if you think that your first practice songs are too inundated for something as cool as an electric guitar. For beginners, the first few songs usually help you get a feel for timing and rhythm, as well as playing along to that rhythm on the instrument. This is why you\’ll get a lot of slow tempos and nursery rhymes as your first practice songs on the electric guitar.

The electric guitar is an instrument that needs practice, especially when you\’re just starting out with it. Learning to play the guitar can be slow at first, but you really have to learn how to crawl before you learn how to run. With enough practice and dedication, though, you should be playing the guitar like a pro in no time.

Electric Guitar Training – Do You Know How to Find Exceptional Electric Guitar Training?

14th September

So you maybe looking for electric guitar training, I want to show you EXACTLY where you should go for the best guitar lessons!  First, I want to congratulate you on your desire to learn the guitar.  Personally, I have been playing now for over sixteen years and learning the guitar was one of the best decisions that I have ever made!  While I think of myself as good guitar player, I am always learning and looking for new ways to learn!

That being said, I decided a while back that traditional electric guitar training methods such as instructors and private lessons are simply not worth my time or my money.  Here are some of the reasons why I think that -

Traditional guitar lesson can be really expensive.  A typical thirty minute lesson will usually run you about $20 – $25.  Now I am not saying that instructors are charge too much, but what I am saying is that it’s hard to get a lot out of a 30 minute lesson.  Instructors have the knowledge that you want, so they can charge this and people will pay.  Personally however, I never really benefited from person electric guitar training.

Another reason that I think traditional guitar training lacks power is because you are limited to only to what you absorb during your lesson.  I remember one of the last times that I went to a lesson, I was too busy looking at the clock trying to cram as much as I could during my lesson.  I should have been paying attention to what was being taught.  I walked out of there with very little because I was RUSHED!

Lastly, I just think that typical electric guitar training is just an inconvenience!  I still don’t understand why people would consistently go out two times a week for lessons.  I mean it just seems like a pain in the neck.  I would much rather prefer to learn from the comfort of MY HOME, not someone else’s home or business.

This is where electric guitar training online comes in.  It is CHEAP and CONVENIENT!  Learn when you want, how you want, and as many times as you want!  Wouldn’t you much rather have lifetime access to guitar lessons for the same price as a couple of traditional electric guitar training lessons?

I thought so!

Mike
