easy guitar songs

i just got a guitar and i wanted to know whats is everything you need to know about a guitar…lessons and all

First of all, yo need a guitar pick id youplan to play the steel-string or electric guitar. Or, you just use your fingers for nylon-string classical guitar.
You need the insttument and that is a personal choice to you. You don;t need the top of the line either. Its how you play it that counts and how you make it sound. To really learn the guitar well, you have to love the instrument and it will become part of you.

Now for lessons, you need good posture and good left hand position with the palm always in parallel to the fingerboard. The right hand has to be able to alternate pick from the start which means that you need good co-ordination between both hands.

If you start off with a wrong technique, it will be very hard to break in the long run. The first lessons usually involve "Tuning the guitar" which is essential. The teacher has to teach you that because he or she won’t always be around if the guitar sounds out-of-tune and it needs tuning.

I’m 14 years old, and I would like to learn to play the guitar but not QUICKLY, like, learn songs and once I’m good enough, teach myself songs that I want to play? Is it possible, or would I have to get lessons? I play the piano so I might have an ear for music, but my friend told me that I should try lessons first…I really don’t have time to make a scheduled lesson every week, and I would be doing this whenever I had free time. Could I do this?

I found it pretty easy to learn to play guitar. I just went on a guitar tabs website and printed out a song i liked and just kept playing it. Practice makes perfect.

smoke on the wateris obviously an easy one – everyone has told you about it i am also a beginner and i found that slither by velvet revolver, iron man by black sabbath and the start of walk this way by aerosmith are all fairly easy.

also smells like teen spirit by nirvana and blood brothers by iron maiden

Hey does anyone know any easy guitar songs for acoustic?

I know a few chords and have watched a few vids on youtube, but have a little difficulty reading TABS

So far, i can play wonderwall, tracy chapmans song "fast car", the beginning of coldplay "viva la vida"

im looking for new or popular songs that maybe have a few chords or isnt hard to learn

the first song i played successfully was "wonderwall" by oasis. its a very popular song too and you can easily find people with videos on youtube that can teach you how to play
